Changing Lives with Clean Water: The Due Log and Village Marie Partnership

Imagine living in a place with 5km walking distance to fetch water before going to school. This is the reality for many Haitians, where only 1 within 4 people have access to basic sanitation, leading to diseases, premature deaths, and school dropouts. But due the sponsorship of Due Log, this story is changing.

Through an innovative water search technology, Due Log has brought hope to Village Marie. A potable water source was found, due the full dedication and commitment to overcome hard challenges. This is not just a water source; it is a community gathering point, with special design features, a plaza with power outlets, showers, eco-friendly tables, and a bench built with stones from the earthquake, designed to allow people to be together who, despite the difficulties of everyday life, celebrating life as a gift that reflects the resilience of the Haitian people.

With this positioning, Due Log reinforces the commitment with ESG philosophy directly contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievements, especially SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, that also impacts SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being by combating diseases, and SDG 4: Quality Education by enabling children to stay in school.

Helping kids under social vulnerability to flourish: Florescer Community Center

“Due the sponsorship of Due Log, we were able to stand our social project in Manari (one of the poorest cities in the state of Pernambuco, located at Brazilian northeast). The financial contribution and strong partnership helped us to build the Florescer Community Center, a social and educational space that supports directly and indirectly around 115 children under social vulnerability, offering literacy activities, tutoring, sports, ballet, drawing and craft classes.
